Bonsai on display at Haneda Airport Garden

We recently held a bonsai exhibition at Haneda Airport Garden.
Set within a spacious environment, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to experience the presence and beauty of bonsai.
For this exhibition, the bonsai were displayed alongside calligraphy by calligraphy artist Ryo Uchiyama.
With bonsai and calligraphy sharing the same space, the presence of each was enhanced, creating a sense of quiet tension and harmony.
When placed within a space, bonsai can reveal a different expression.
The way a tree looks and feels can change depending on the viewing angle and distance—one of the unique pleasures of experiencing bonsai as part of an actual exhibition.
We hope you will take your time to appreciate each tree.
A Kokufu Bonsai was displayed in the lobby waiting area.
Its presence naturally drew the attention of people passing through the space.
It was particularly memorable to see visitors stop and quietly admire the tree.
For the exhibition, our staff carefully transported and arranged each bonsai.
They adjusted the position and direction of each tree in fine detail, gradually creating a balanced composition throughout the space.
These careful efforts come together to create the finished exhibition.
If you are visiting the area, we would be delighted if you could experience the exhibition in person.
